A birthday party to remember: Timeless DnB 16yr
So the day has come and gone and I sat here 2 weeks later editing this interview and I was thinking about how dedicated these guys are to not just the LA scene but the DnB scene as a whole.
We were in the greenroom of Don Quixote, we had Document One hiding in the corner and it was towards the end of Bass n Babes set when this interview took place. The greenroom sits right behind the stage so the AI and I did the best we could with the audio. We are low budget here at DnBP but we do the best we can with the tools we have! I like the grittiness, shows its real and raw!! Just as Junglists should be!
So lets talk about these two headliners. The big man Break was exactly what I thought it was going to be, watching a master at his craft. The selections for his set were spectacular!
I feel Document One stole the show! I was blown away by this guys set! How he controlled the room and the excitement in it was a master class. if you have not seen Document One Live...you are missing out! Thank you to Dip Vertigo for setting up that interview with him...that's right, we got a Document One interview coming at ya!
The hospitality I was shown was great! The Timeless DnB crew were all stand up folks, also, they are not all distinguished gentlemen by the way, they do have a lady in the ranks...the one they call Sprankles, so I did wanna mention that since she was not there at the time of shooting the interview!
This party was dope AF! This venue is dope and the sound is on point! Everyone who played brought their A-game and it was a great time all around from the vendors, tot he music and people!
