MIGHTY MONKZ started DNB HEROZ back in 2012. The mission was to present local Drum n Bass talent in a way, that they are looked up to as Headliners and Heroes for those who appreciate the DnB culture. Along with being the founder and leader of 2TEN PLATOON; THE GENERAL has also created a unique platform called the “TEXAS DNB EXPO” with workshops and interviews that started back 2015. This event was to present a variety of DNB talent from all over Texas, with line ups of up to 50 DJs and MCs. With the workshops taught by various DJs. Each seminar gave positive perspective, information and history of drum n bass. Even giving a few lessons on how to DJ. MONKZ is also working on some projects with several producers stateside and some in the UK with Vocalizing samples and hooks. Along with starting RINSE & RISE a very popular MIXCLOUD LIVE stream that is getting a lot of attention.
