Axon Gap

First off, fully stoked to be joining the Drum & Bass Proper team with the opportunity to do what I love so much...wax philosophic about wax trax.  I'm a Junglewise character from from way back, but only in mind, body, and soul. I think it was Patrick Henry who once said, "Give me jungle or give me my money back." but I can't be sure since the music was so loud.  I believe bass music is important and unique since it's experienced at the cellular level and not just aural.  I love a good steady dnb track, but prefer the wild cadence of Jungle - finding it rather relaxing and invigorating at the same time. The last few years in my journey were the most active thanks to the miracle of live-streaming.  I've enjoyed dropping every manner of jungle on Phoenix's local Jank Town Beats stream, participated in some Wednesday Rinse action with PacD plus some great stateside DJs, and spent a couple years on the team with After Dark Radio based in Bristol, UK.  I've always loved the study of Jungle from it's roots and adore the fact there's still a thriving underground community with fresh production alongside veterans still pushing the bounds of our beloved drums and bass.  I could go on forever, but I feel compelled for a rewind first.
